Our pediatric speech and language pathologists diagnose and treat a wide variety of communication disorders. They help children and young adults improve their language, communication, and speech abilities and skills. These may include alternative methods, such as sign language or computer aided communication. Treatment plans may include play-based techniques to foster communication skills while having fun. Our child-centered environment includes toys, books, balls, and so much more.

Therapists develop a treatment plan with the input of the child’s family and care team. Treatment plans are continuously monitored and adjusted to fit the child’s changing needs, abilities, and interests. Custom home-based programs help parents guide their child’s progress between appointments.

Our physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech language pathologists will perform an evaluation to determine if ACC is an appropriate location for you or your loved one based on the following considerations:

  • Level of physical and intellectual disability
  • Ability to accommodate client needs based on the current facility equipment and set-up
