Because the health and safety of our campers and staff is our top priority, we have explored, at length, how we might maintain physical distancing, safe settings for activities for Adult Programs. Unfortunately, given these challenges and the current environment, we won’t be offering Adult Programs until further notice. We will continue to evaluate the possibility of offering a safe, healthful experience. Please watch for further announcements!
We know that having fun participating in recreational activities knows no age. Adults with disabilities enjoy traditional camp activities at Camp Cheerful including swimming, canoeing, horsemanship activities, arts and crafts, and nature activities – just to name a few! Adults also enjoy taking riding lessons in our Therapeutic Horsemanship program, playing year-round sports in our Adapted Sports program, and learning to swim in our Adapted Aquatics program at our Westlake facility.
In addition, in our River Rock Adult Day Program, adults with disabilities enjoy our unique outdoor environment, and benefit from customized social, recreational, and educational activities at Camp Cheerful.
