“It’s better than a typical summer job – you’re outside all the time. I’m an outdoor person and you get to be with kids every day. One word I’d use is fun – so much fun. I’ve made so many fun memories with the kids.”

Karlee — Cheerful Day Camp Counselor
College Major: Intervention Specialist
“It’s a bit intimidating coming to a summer camp for kids with special needs, but it’s not that different to be honest. These kids are still kids. They taught me how to think outside the box…and to be patient and understanding because they need a bit more of that.”
