My family loves dogs!

For as long as I can remember, we have always had not one, but multiple dogs. We’ve had a golden retriever, an Irish wolfhound, an English bulldog, a Shih-Tzu, a Pomeranian, a Newfoundland, Dachshunds, a Cavalier King Charles spaniel, a pug, a Shelty, and a 3-legged Labrador mix. The golden retriever is my therapy dog.  His name is Jet and he is able to go for walks with me, get some items for me, and just be a good companion. The lab mix was famous for eating things she should not have such as zippers, shoes, and a whole rack of ribs, bones and all! Our pig, Wilbur, sometimes thought he was a dog. Luckily, none of our dogs have ever thought they were a pig. We used to have a hot tub in our backyard and it was usually covered. Our dogs were used to standing on the cover or running over the top of it. One day the cover was off, but two of our dogs did not realize it and one after the other they chased each other into the water. I’m glad they could swim! When someone rings the doorbell at our house, it sounds like an animal shelter at full volume with one dog howling like a wolf and the others barking like crazy. Does your family include animals like mine?

Check out my blog “Life with Wilbur.”  It’s guaranteed to make you smile, and thanks for reading my blogs!
