Research partnership examines the intersection of race and disability

This article highlights how individuals with disabilities who are also people of color face additional discrimination and challenges.

This is the third article in the 2023 research partnership between Achievement Centers for Children and the Center for Community Solutions. This paper, authored by Rose Frech, Professor of Social Work at Ohio University, explores the intersection of race and disability in Ohio and showcases how reforms are needed in multiple areas to ensure equitable access to services and opportunities for people of color with disabilities.
