American Camp Association
Camp Cheerful is accredited by the American Camp Association, the only national accrediting body for camps with a focus on health, safety, and risk management. This accreditation provides evidence of a camp’s proven commitment to the well-being of campers and staff.
Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF)
The Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities is the accrediting body for our mental health programs and has consistently awarded us their highest accreditation based on their established standards. Our current three-year accreditation extends through May 31, 2026.
Healthy Families America
As a proud provider of the Help Me Grow program, we are accredited by Healthy Families America, the signature home visiting program of Prevent Child Abuse America.
Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship (PATH)
Camp Cheerful’s Therapeutic Horsemanship Program has been named a Premier Accredited Center Program by The Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship (PATH) International. We are only of only 12 such centers in Ohio and additionally, all our Therapeutic Horsemanship instructors are certified and registered by PATH.
