There are many opportunities to help the Achievement Centers by donating your time and talents. We welcome your involvement!

Program Help

Summer and weekend sessions at Camp Cheerful are wonderful opportunities to work directly with the children and adults with disabilities who enjoy their recreational time at Camp. Volunteers are needed to help campers throughout their day as they participate in a variety of sports, arts & crafts, games, mealtimes and performance arts.

Held year-round at Camp Cheerful are the Therapeutic Riding programs. Without volunteers (age 14 or over) to lead horses and help riders, these programs can't function. No horse or disability experience is necessary - we provide all the necessary training.

Special projects and office help are occasionally needed at our Highland Hills, Westlake and Strongsville facilities.

Special Events

Throughout the year, the Achievement Centers holds special events that help raise money for our programs. Volunteers are needed in a variety of capacities from serving on auction committees to staffing our A Most Excellent Race to working at our golf event, Blue Chip Blue Tee.
