Camp Cheerful Facility Rentals

In 1947, the Achievement Centers’ Camp Cheerful became Ohio’s first barrier-free camp for children and adults with disabilities. Camp Cheerful campers are accepted into the program regardless of their family’s ability to pay for the session. Your rental fees are used to support these camp programs.

Nestled on 52 acres of woods, trails, fields and aquatic areas of the Cleveland Metroparks, the Achievement Centers for Children’s Camp Cheerful offers the perfect setting for your next corporate retreat or group getaway!

At Camp Cheerful, your guests will enjoy a private atmosphere and a knowledgeable staff to make your event memorable. We will customize your group’s experience and can provide catering, sleeping accommodations and develop a personalized curriculum based on your group’s needs.

  • 7 cabins available (5 heated) which sleep up to 25 each
  • Centrally located Bathhouse
• Picnic Pavilion with picnic tables for 100
• Outdoor Chapel (amphitheater) with bench seating for 100
